BI Vision Seminar Series
Dynamic Analytics in the Enterprise Architecture
April 25, 2002
Chicago, IL
Daman Consulting and IBM teamed up to bring you this installment in the Business Intelligence Xchange seminar series an in-depth look at Dynamic Analytics (DA) and its role within the Enterprise Architecture. Dynamic Analytics addressed the most significant need in architectural solutions: the ability to rapidly adapt to changes driven by the analysis environment; without the traditional risks of instability, long lead times and runaway costs. The ultimate goal of DA is an adaptive architecture agile enough to support advanced analytics within the enterprise, including linkages to operational systems.
The first speaker was Randall Grossman, former Senior Vice President for Bank One. Grossman discussed real-world examples of traditional customer analytics, offering insight on trends in enterprise analytics that he's witnessed over the past several years. Next, a presentation was given by three-time CIO Rob Bosch, Vice President of Enterprise Integration for Daman. Bosch outlined the benefits of DA, and discussed proven methods for implementing enterprise architectures to support Dynamic Analytics.
