Bhala Ghatate
Vice President of Technology, Daman Consulting
Bhala Ghatate is Daman's Vice President of Technology. In this role he has developed and deployed Daman's patented Business Rules Management System (BRMS) and metadata management software, used by corporations such as FDC, Concord Mutual Insurance, Amica Insurance, Boeing and others to drive enterprise applications. The patented technology was created to plan the execution of business rules so as to minimize data access thereby reducing database I/O. Bhala has over 12 years of experience in developing technology which combines distributed data, artificial intelligence and client server/internet technologies. Prior to Daman, Bhala was a lead developer at Trilogy where he architected their database access, ERP integration, client-server access and checker engine. Bhala is also an expert with VLDBs in Oracle as well as SQL Server.
